We are delighted to announce our NEW PgCert in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery, awarded by the University of Central Lancashire
Vets can now become a super soft tissue surgeon in just 12 months with this primarily practical programme. The first intake is in March 2024 and the programme starts with a three day small group practical attendance session at our bespoke Training Centre in Studley near Redditch.
Our expert and approachable tutors will give you all the help you need in wet lab sessions designed to develop your skills and confidence with your surgical patients. Take your new skills back to your practice and start using them straight away. You’ll get nine full days of practical training in three practical modules. This means you only have to travel three times, and all of your attendance sessions are practical. Your theory is online for your convenience.
Assessment is by a casebook and reflective essays- there are no formal exams. Reflective practice is fully in keeping with the RCVS focus on CPD, and vets who have completed our other PgCerts have found the process highly beneficial, providing real skills that can be used in all areas of clinical practice.
