Andrew Coughlan has joined us here at CPD Solutions.
Andrew is an RCVS recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics). He is a Director of CPD Solutions and has played a major role in putting together our practical veterinary CPD courses in surgery which feature highly structured supervised hands-on sessions.
Andrew set up Northwest Surgeons, a surgical referral practice, in 2001. After 8 years developing the business, Andrew has left Northwest Surgeons to concentrate on new opportunities at CPD Solutions.
Andrew will be introducing new and innovative learning programmes that will be useful for you if you’re a vet or a nurse in practice. He will be utilising online and multimedia resources to provide support where you need it- in your practice.
He was a bit apprehensive about the change in career direction to start with, especially when he couldn’t find the theatres, but now he’s settling in well. I think there may have been an issue over working with me too, but so far so good. If there are any particular surgical areas that you would like to see a either a practical veterinary CPD course or online training in, then let us know and we’ll put him onto it!.
