Learn how to make the most of rehabilitation in your practice for the benefit of your small animal patients. Work towards a qualification that will develop your personal skills and your practice repertoire.

When you attend the VNRT course you will:-

• Extend your role and responsibilities in small animal rehabilitation in your practice
• Be equipped to plan and execute appropriate rehabilitation programmes for your patients to ensure better outcomes
• Learn effective rehabilitation techniques and the principles behind their use
• Gain knowledge and skills to use in rehabilitation of your orthopaedic, neurological and critical care patients
• Have a greater understanding of functional anatomy and develop your palpation skills
• Learn how to analyse posture and gait to identify specific musculoskeletal problems
• Develop your problem solving and decision making skills in rehabilitation planning
• Be able to set goals, measure outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of your treatments
• Undertake specialist training in the safe & effective use of electrotherapy
• Recognise your own levels of competence & know when to refer to specialist practitioners
• Work towards a rehabilitation qualification – the first developed specifically for veterinary nurses working with small animals.
