David Vail BSc, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology)
Dr. Vail completed a BS in microbiology from the University of Alberta in 1980, a DVM degree in 1984 from the University of Saskatchewan and an MS in medical oncology from Colorado State University in 1990. He presently is professor of oncology in the Department of Medical Sciences and Director for the Center for Clinical Trials and Research at the School of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also is a member of the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Vail has won awards for research and clinical studies, and has served as president of the Canine Comparative Oncology and Genomics Consortium. He has also authored and co-authored several publications on this topic.
