Romain Pizzi BVSc MSc DZooMed FRES MACVSc(surg) MRCVS
Romain Pizzi qualified as a veterinary surgeon in South Africa where he was born and grew up. He has worked with exotic species, zoo animals, and free ranging wildlife on 5 continents. He holds an MSc in Wild Animal Health, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate and Diploma in Zoological Medicine, and Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists by examination in small animal surgery. Previous veterinarian at London Zoo and Edinburgh Zoo, he is currently based at Inglis Veterinary centre in Dunfermline, as well as being Director of Zoological Medicine Ltd, and a Special Lecturer in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine at the University of Nottingham. He has also been a presenter for Discovery's Animal Planet and BBC Television. Romain is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons recognised specialist in Zoo & Wildlife Medicine.
