Joan Freeman DipAVN(Surg)
Joan qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in January 1991. In September 1991 she joined the nursing team at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies Small Animal Clinic and was appointed as Head Nurse in November 1996. Joan obtained the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Surgical) in February 1995. Her main interest is surgical nursing, particularly good theatre practice.
In December 2002 Joan moved to Northwest Surgeons orthopaedic and soft tissue referral centre in Cheshire. She is currently Head Nurse at Northwest Surgeons.
