Examination of exotic animals can be challenging in practice. If you have ever struggled with a reptile or a bird in your consulting room and you would like to decrease your stress levels on these occasions, then this course is for you. During the six attendance sessions you will develop your confidence in dealing with exotic patients, enhance your knowledge of their care and develop your expertise in exotic animal diagnostics, medicine and surgery.
Throughout the course the emphasis will be on developing your diagnostic and decision-making abilities as an exotic animal clinician. The course will provide a supportive environment for you to learn the types of procedures that you will be able to carry out in practice.
This course is designed for you if you are working in first opinion practice and want to develop your exotic animal examination and diagnostic capabilities. It would also be suitable for you if you are considering sitting the Certificate in Zoological Medicine.
