Course outline
Neurological diagnosis in first opinion practice can be very challenging, especially as many patients with neurological disease present as emergencies. No time to do a complete neurological examination or cannot remember what all those reflexes mean? Don’t despair – help is at hand.
Even without specialist facilities for definitively diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, a great deal of information can be determined with some basic knowledge and a logical approach. This modular course will help you to make decisions based on your initial evaluation of the most common neurological presentations that you will see in dogs and cats in your practice.
Discussions are extensively illustrated by video case examples, to help you to identify presentations and develop a structured and effective approach to all of your neurological patients.
