Course outline
Feline medicine is one of the most rapidly growing areas of small animal practice and feline cases make up the majority of patients for many practices today. There has also been an explosion in our knowledge of feline diseases in recent years.
This course will cover key topics in feline medicine and provide an update on new developments that you need to know about. Each module will deal with specific key areas of feline medicine. Our emphasis will be on updating current approaches to the most common feline problems and a summary of newly recognised feline disorders, all of which you are likely to encounter in practice.
The topics have been selected to cover the most important aspects of feline medicine for vets in practice, and to allow you to develop a practical approach to major presenting signs. Case illustrations will apply theory to the types of patients that are likely to enter your consulting room. All of the tutors have a special interest and expertise in feline medicine.
