Course outline
There have been many recent advances in veterinary oncology, and owners’ expectations have never been higher. During this course, a clinical oncologist and a soft tissue surgeon will show you how to approach and treat different cancers including lymphoma, mast cell tumours and soft tissue sarcomas. You will also be introduced to cytological diagnosis and surgical and medical management of solid tumours. There will be case-based discussions and practical components to reinforce learning.
At the end of this course you will be better equipped to manage cancer patients effectively in your practice.

• Tumour staging including FNAs and biopsy techniques

• How to approach oncological surgery
