As a veterinary nurse in general or small animal practice, the monitoring and care of anaesthetised patients probably forms a significant proportion of your work on a daily basis. As awareness increases about the potential risks of small animal anaesthesia and owner expectations about the care of their pets becomes ever higher, your role becomes even more important.
This day course will help you to develop your knowledge and skills in this vital area, so that you can carry out this responsible role effectively and competently, keeping your stress levels in theatre to a minimum.
Specific areas to be covered include:

• Monitoring anaesthesia:

o What can you do when things do go wrong?
