Course outline
During this module we will cover a variety of feline endocrine disorders, from the common disorders like diabetes mellitus and hyperthyroidism to the more unusual endocrine disorders. Common endocrine disorders can be some of the most problematic ones to manage and this course will provide lots of practical tips that will help you to manage these tricky cases, with plenty of case examples to illustrate important points.

You will also learn about emerging disorders and you’ll finish the day being able to ensure that you aren’t missing some of these diseases. We will discuss the approach to cases presenting with common clinical signs such as weakness, polydipsia and hypertension, in addition to practising decision making with a variety of common challenges that you are likely to face in feline endocrinology.

Specific areas to be covered include:
• Diabetes mellitus – how to manage challenging cases
