Course outline
Exotic animal medicine and surgery is becoming an increasing component of small animal practice. To treat your exotic patients successfully, you need to be able to carry out appropriate diagnostic testing for each species and interpret the results! During this course you will be introduced to the common laboratory procedures that you will need to perform in these species. Practical sessions will provide you with hands-on experience of using diagnostic samples and practising laboratory techniques under the guidance of an experienced laboratory technical advisor. Places are strictly limited to allow a personal feel to the sessions and to maximise the practical knowledge that you will obtain.
