Course outline
In this session we will share some secrets of success! This course has a very practical basis and is packed full of practical information that you can use with your patients. We will spotlight a group of diverse solid tumours, covering diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for osteosarcoma, soft tissue sarcomas, oral and nasal tumours. Medical management of osteosarcoma is vital for successful outcome, and we will emphasise practical aspects of getting chemotherapy right in the general practice setting – an area which we now know concerns many practitioners. Finally, we will bring you right up to date in the emerging disease presentations that comprise the histiocytic group of tumours, covering their diagnosis, management and prognosis. There will be ample opportunity to discuss intriguing cases and diagnostic dilemmas in the final interactive session.
