Arthritis in dogs is a serious problem in veterinary practice. How many patients do you have with arthritis? It’s a challenge to manage as it’s a chronic condition and often requires both medication and lifestyle modification. Owners also relate strongly to their dogs with arthritis and often want to apply treatments that they have found effective themselves. There’s also some useful information on the internet- but a lot of material that is not at all useful and may give owners false expectations for their dog.
